Electric Ireland GAA Minors Player of the Week Competition 2018
With the 2018 Electric Ireland Minor Championships kicking off last week, April marks the return of the Electric Ireland GAA Minor’s Player of the Week initiative. The initiative aims to recognise the major moments of individual players weekly.
Each week, Electric Ireland will work with a panel of GAA legends and regional media to shortlist the top three Minor football and hurling performances from the previous weeks games. The public will be encouraged to vote for their Player of the Week via Facebook. The best players in each position will then be up for selection for the 2018 Electric Ireland GAA Minor Star Top 15.
The season will culminate in an awards presentation ceremony, in celebration of the players' major moments, which will be held after the All-Ireland Minor Hurling and Football Championship Finals.
The panel will be unveiled on May 16th 2018 to help launch Electric Ireland’s This is Major campaign as part of the sponsorship.
Having been sponsor of the GAA All-Ireland Minor Championships since 2012, Electric Ireland will continue the partnership until 2021.
