What is an Electric Ireland Superhomes retrofit?

An Electric Ireland Superhomes whole-house retrofit involves carrying out a number of energy upgrade measures in one installation to achieve a warmer, more comfortable, energy efficient home with a BER rating of between B2 and A1. Electric Ireland Superhomes’ retrofit philosophy is based on the view that a home is an interrelated and interdependent energy system.

Yes. The Electric Ireland Superhomes retrofit engineers undertake a rigorous home energy survey. Once complete you will be given a comprehensive plan with costings and grant funding available. You can then decide if you would like to proceed with the work.

3. Does the home energy survey cost anything to complete?

Yes. The cost of an Electric Ireland Superhomes Energy Report is €475 (a surcharge will apply for homes above 240sqm or where an extension is planned). This fee includes a video call with an Electric Ireland Superhomes advisor to go through the Energy Report in detail.
