Please submit your meter reading within 5 working days of your bill issue date.

When calling us, just have the following ready:

• Your electricity meter reading
• The name on your Electric Ireland account (this is on your Electric Ireland bill)
• Your Electric Ireland account number (this is also on your Electric Ireland bill)

Please text your reading to ESB Networks at 0879609223 in this format:  

Your MPRN followed by a space and then your meter reading:

If your reading is 12345, your message should look like this:

10009998888 12345

Remember, the best time to submit a meter read is within 5 working days of your bill issue date.

They’ll pass the reading on to us so it can be included in your next bill.
