How do I get emergency credit if I can’t top up?

Emergency Credit is available if your balance falls below €3*, but you’ll need to activate this. This means you can avail of an “overdraft” of up to €20 before being disconnected. It’s easiest to activate Emergency Credit through your online account, or you can call 1800 372 372. Once you top-up, the emergency credit will stay active until your credit goes back above €3. Your power will be disconnected once your emergency credit has been used. The amount of emergency credit you have used will be deducted from your next top up.

*Note: The value of emergency credit, and the balance that dictates when it can be activated, is subject to change.
