What happens if a debt flag is raised on my account?

If a debt flag is placed on your account your request to switch to Electric Ireland may be accepted or rejected. If your application is accepted, your terms for energy supply will be agreed between you and Electric Ireland.

If your application is not accepted, we will write to you. In this case you should then contact your existing supplier to address your outstanding arrears. You can then re-apply to us for your energy supply.
