Terms and conditions for the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer 

Terms and conditions for the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer (the “Offer”) starting 1st July 2026.   

This offer gives you two free 445W Solar PV (Photovoltaic) panels with a Qualifying Product. We recommend that you read these terms and conditions carefully, as they set out our responsibilities to you and the terms and conditions which need to be complied with as a recipient of the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer.   

By availing of the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, you agree to these terms and conditions.  

 

Definitions 

“Electric Ireland” or “we” or “us” means Electric Ireland, the customer supply business unit of Electricity Supply Board (“ESB”) and having its principal office at 27 Fitzwilliam Street Lower Dublin 2 D02 KT92.  

“Deposit” means 50% of the cost of a Qualifying Product.   

“End Date” means 13th August 2026.  

“2 Free Panels Offer” means two free 445W solar PV panels with a Qualifying Product, in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 

“Qualifying Product” means the supply and installation of a 2.7kWp (6 panels) Solar PV (Photovoltaic) System or larger.  

“Solar PV System” means the Solar PV panels and associated equipment and apparatus. 

“Solar PV terms and conditions” means the general solar PV sale and installation terms and conditions entered into between you and Electric Ireland in respect of the Qualifying Product. These conditions can be viewed solar PV terms and conditions or a copy can be provided on request. 

 

Taking part  

  1. This Offer is for personal use only in residential buildings and cannot be used for business or commercial reasons.  

  1. This Offer is valid only for new Solar PV System installations of 6 solar panels (2.7kWp) or more.   

  1. We reserve the right, at our absolute discretion, withdraw the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer at any time before the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer has been redeemed and a contract for the installation of a Qualifying Product has been formed.

 

How to redeem the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer

  1. To redeem the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, you must register your interest in a Solar PV System with us, by submitting the relevant callback request on    Solar Panels for Homes | Solar PV | ElectricIreland between 1st July 2026 and 13th August 2026 and pay a Deposit within 30 days of receiving a quotation. 

  2. Application of the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer remains strictly subject to you paying the remaining cost of the Qualifying Product in full, in accordance with the solar PV terms and conditions. 

 

 

General   

  1. To avail of the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, you must be aged 18 or over and a resident in the Republic of Ireland.   

  1. The 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, will end on the End Date or 30 days after the date you receive our Quotation, whichever is the later. 

  1. From time-to-time, we may also make other changes to the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer. In such circumstances, any offer we agreed to provide to you before we make changes to the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer will continue to apply, subject to any qualifying criteria.   

  1. We reserve the right to withdraw the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer at any time and at our sole discretion. If we have issued a Quotation to you before we withdraw the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, you will still be entitled to accept the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer within the 30-day validity period.   

  2. We will use your personal data for processing your application for the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer and for no other purpose.  If you take up the 2 Free Panels Solar Offer, your personal data will be processed in accordance with the Solar PV terms and conditions.
