Our call centre is extremely busy right now – here are other ways of contacting us

Electric Ireland customer care 2022

The Electric Ireland call centre is experiencing longer-than-usual call waiting times due to a higher than normal volume of calls. Our customers are understandably concerned about rising energy costs, managing bill payments and available supports.

Customer queries are our highest priority. We ask that you please be patient with our customer care teams who are doing their best to answer all calls and deal with your queries in a timely manner.

If you are having difficulty getting through to our call centre over the phone, there are a number of other ways you can contact Electric Ireland online.

Manage your account online

Electric Ireland customers can make a payment online or set up a direct debit through the My Account function. Electric Ireland customers can also opt for paperless billing, submit a meter reading or transfer your account to a new address if you’re moving to a new house.

Contact our customer care team on social media

Our customer care teams are also available on Twitter and Facebook and Instagram to answer your queries. Simply tag our Twitter account @electricireland and post your query. Have your account number ready for a direct (private) message on Twitter or Facebook or Instagram.
