Electric Ireland, proud sponsor of the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Championships, has released the seventh episode of its new podcast ‘GAA Minor Moments’, featuring lead singer of the Coronas and former Dublin Minor footballer, Danny O’Reilly, as he shares his experiences from both on and off the pitch.

In this week’s episode, Danny reminisces on growing up in a family with a passion for music and sport, where he would learn the importance of hard work and dedication when working towards achieving a goal.

Prior to his success in the music industry, Danny's GAA journey would see him represent school, club and county at minor level. But possibly the greatest success stemming from his sporting life, has been the connections he has created along the way with family and friends. We also gain great insight from Danny, not just as a player, but as a fan who is passionate about Dublin football.

Electric Ireland’s ‘GAA Minor Moments’ Podcast will air every Tuesday as well-known Irish stars share memories from their early sporting careers, reflecting on the defining moments from playing Minor and how it shaped them, both on and off the pitch.

The podcast will run for ten weeks over the course of the Electric Ireland GAA Minor Championship, featuring a new guest each week from a star-studded line up. This will include Eamon O’Shea, Sean McGrath, Conal Keaney and many more as they reflect on their time spent playing Minor and shed light on some great personal stories.
