Mandatory Terms and Conditions

• You must hold a natural gas and electricity account with Electric Ireland to avail of this price plan.
• Payment by Direct Debit is mandatory on both fuel accounts to avail of this price plan.
• An 8% Saving (variable after 12 months) is applied to the electricity plan unit rate and an 8% Saving (variable after 12 months) is applied to the gas plan unit rate. Savings do not apply to standing charges.
• Your savings will be applied from the date you sign up for this price plan (or agree on the telephone or through online sign up) continuing for as long as you remain an Electric Ireland dual fuel customer.
• If you discontinue your electricity and/or gas Direct Debit for any reason, we will move you to the relevant Electric Ireland Standard Price Plan and withdraw all electricity and gas savings, including any optional savings.
• If you cease to take electricity and natural gas from Electric Ireland within 12 months of signing up, we will apply a €50 (incl. VAT) exit fee to both your electricity and gas account.
• If you cease to take electricity or natural gas from Electric Ireland within 12 months of signing up, we will move you to the relevant Electric Ireland Standard Price Plans, and withdraw all electricity and gas savings, including any optional savings and apply a €50 (incl. VAT) exit fee to the ceasing fuel account.
• Electricity and Gas Price Plan standard unit rates and standing charges may be subject to change, but this will not affect your electricity price plan savings percentage.
• The ValueSaver Gas Price Plan is for customers with usage less than 73,000kWh per annum (on bands A, B & C as advised by Bord Gáis Networks). Where you have usage greater than 73,000kWh as advised to us by Bord Gáis Networks then you will be put on the Large Gas ValueSaver Price Plan.• These price plan terms and conditions are in addition to the Electric Ireland General Terms and Conditions for Residential Customers.• Electric Ireland reserves the right to vary and/or cancel this offer at any time for valid commercial, technical, operational and/or regulatory reasons.

If you opt for Online Billing

• The additional 0.5% Online Billing Saving is applied to the standard unit rate of the Electricity Price Plan and to the standard unit rate of the Gas Price Plan
• We will register you for online billing.
• You will receive notification by email to confirm online registration.
• Email notification will be sent when your bill is ready to view online.
• It is mandatory to have Online Billing on both your electricity and gas price plans.
• Savings offered for Online Billing will be withdrawn if you deregister from Online Billing.

We quote the unit rate inclusive of your savings for information purposes only. The unit rate displayed on your bill will be the standard unit rate before savings. You will see your savings total as a separate line item on the r bill.

**Low Usage Standing Charge

Only applicable to customers who use on average 2kWh or less of electricity per day, equivalent to 122kWh for an average billing cycle of 61 days. The Low User Standing Charge does not apply to customers in receipt of a Free Electricity Allowance.

***Supply Point Capacity Charge

A charge is payable in order to move gas through the pipelines. This charge is essentially where gas suppliers, reserve space on the gas pipeline on behalf of their customers for the coming gas year. The amount of space reserved is called Supply Point Capacity (SPC). Each gas point has an individual, site specific SPC. This capacity for Non Daily Metered Customers is an estimation of peak day consumption measured in kWh. The estimation methodology is based on the FAR process and has been approved by the Commission for Energy Regulation. Bord Gáis Networks is responsible for estimating SPC for all customers. • This price plan is available to new dual fuel customers and existing dual fuel customers.
• The price of the NestTM unit is €99 for new customers and €199 for existing customers and this will appear on your next bill.
• New customers must hold an electricity and gas account with Electric Ireland for 1 year from date of sign up, to avail of this price plan.
• Payment in full by Direct Debit is mandatory on both fuels to avail of this price plan.
• An 8% Saving (variable after 12 months) is applied to the electricity plan unit rate and an 8% Saving (variable after 12 months) to the gas plan unit rate. Savings do not apply to standing charges.
• Your savings will be applied from the date you sign up for this price plan (or agree on the telephone or through online sign up) and will continue for as long as you remain an Electric Ireland dual fuel customer.
• If you cease to take electricity and/or natural gas from Electric Ireland before the end of your first year we will apply a €200 (incl. VAT) exit fee to your electricity account.

• Savings offered for Online Billing will be withdrawn if you deregister from Online Billing.

**Low Usage Standing Charge

• You must hold an electricity account with Electric Ireland to avail of this price plan.
• Payment by Direct Debit is mandatory to avail of this price plan.
• A 5% Saving (variable after 12 months) is applied to the Electricity Price Plan unit rate. Savings do not apply to standing charges.
• Your savings will be fixed from the date you sign up for this price plan (or agree on the telephone or through online sign up) and will continue for as long as you remain an Electric Ireland electricity customer.
• If you cancel your Direct Debit for any reason, we will move you to the relevant Electric Ireland Standard Electricity Price Plan and withdraw all electricity savings, including any optional savings.

• The Electric Ireland Pay As You Go Price Plan will be fixed from the date of PAYG Budget Controller installation for the remainder of that calendar month and will continue for a minimum of 12 months ("Term").
• If you fail to comply with our General Electricity Supply Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to move you to our Standard Domestic Rates.
• If you fail to comply with the PAYG Electricity Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to move you to our Standard Domestic Rates and withdraw the PAYG Budget Controller.
• Electric Ireland Pay As You Go unit rates may change before the end of your price plan term; however you will be notified of any changes in advance.
• Pay As You Go Customers that switch Supplier within 12 month of their Budget Controller installation will be subject to a Budget Controller removal fee of €50.• Pay As You Go customers agree to allow the DSO (ESB Networks) access to their premises to replace or upgrade their meter.

• The Electric Ireland Smarter Pay As You Go Price Plan will be fixed from the date of PAYG meter installation for the remainder of that calendar month and will continue for a minimum of 12 months ("Term").
• If you fail to comply with our General Electricity Supply Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to move you to our Standard Domestic Rates.
• If you fail to comply with the Smarter PAYG Electricity Terms & Conditions, we reserve the right to move you to our Standard Domestic Rates and withdraw the PAYG meter and monitor.
• Electric Ireland Smarter Pay As You Go unit rates may change before the end of your price plan term; however you will be notified of any changes in advance.
• Smarter Pay As You Go Customers that switch Supplier within 12 month of their PAYG meter installation will be subject to a removal fee of €50.
