How do I get refund if I close my Electric Ireland account?

If you move out of your property or decide to change supplier, Electric Ireland will refund any credit due to you once the final bill has been issued and where you do not have debt on another account with us.

If you are registered for online billing, please log in to your account and request refund online. We will issue the refund by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) directly to your bank account. It may take up to 10 working days for the refunded amount to reach your bank account.

If you are not registered for online billing, please contact us to request a refund.
