ESB Networks System Outage Impacting Smart Prepay Customers

Smart Prepay* customers will be impacted by an ESB Networks system outage from 28th July to the 7th of August, the following services will be affected:

Disconnections

Disconnections will be paused from Monday, the 28th of July until Thursday the 7th of August. Disconnections will resume from 9am on Thursday the 7th of August. It is your responsibility to continue to top up during this time to avoid disconnection at the end of this outage.

Reconnections

Reconnections will be on hold from 6pm on Wednesday the 30th of July until Tuesday the 5th of August. Please ensure you top up before 6pm on Wednesday 30th July, or activate your emergency credit, as during this outage, we will be unable to reconnect you.

Topping up and account balance information

It’s important for you to continue to top up during this outage. However, from Saturday the 2nd of August until Tuesday the 5th of August, we will be unable to display your up-to-date balance information or issue any balance text alerts. Your up-to-date balance will be available by Wednesday 6th August. Disconnections will resume on Thursday, the 7th of August.
