If you would like to remain an Electric Ireland customer you need to contact your new energy provider within 14 days of commencing your switch. Once your new supplier has been contacted, we will receive confirmation of this and you’ll continue to enjoy the benefits of being an Electric Ireland customer.
We would like to let you know that if you switch now, you will be breaking your Electric Ireland contract, which means you could incur a penalty and an exit fee.
If you choose to stay with us for the duration of your contract, there will be no penalties incurred.
