The Temporary Business Energy Support Scheme is now closed for new claims.

PSO Levy Rates for Businesses

Read below for the latest rates and information.

The Public Service Obligation Levy (PSO) is mandated by the Irish Government and approved by the European Commission to support the generation of electricity from sustainable, renewable and indigenous sources.

The levy is calculated and certified annually by the Commission for Regulation of Utilities (CRU) in accordance with relevant legislation and all energy suppliers are required to collect this levy from customers.

From 1st of October 2023 to 30th September 2024, the PSO will be set to zero. Click here for further information.

Our complimentary energy efficiency tool, SME Premium Insights, sits within our Business Online portal. Available to all Small-Medium Enterprise (SME) customers nine months after onboarding, this tool provides personalised energy insights into your business, helping you manage usage and reduce costs where possible.

Features of this tool include:

▪ The end use breakdown shows you which appliances are using the most energy
▪ Peer to Peer comparison, comparing your usages to others in your sector
▪ Personalised energy-saving tips for your business

Meter Reads for your Business

Ensure accurate, not estimated billing

Ensuring you submit your Meter Read to your electricity provider is becoming increasingly important to ensure bill accuracy, and to avoid an estimated bill charge.

The easiest way to submit a Meter Read is to login to Business Online. Our video explains how you can do this.

If you are unable to log in or register, for Business Online, you can submit a Meter Read through our automated meter read phone service by calling us on 1800 337 777.
