The Business Show 2020: A platform for rebooting our economy

Electric Ireland are delighted to be the Energy Partner of The Business Show 2020: A Platform for Rebooting our Economy. The programme runs from June to September with a series of webinars featuring business leaders who have experienced economic challenges before and emerged stronger. The series is aimed at creating a sustained and consistent engagement between leading organisations, their leadership and the Irish business community.

The latest in the webinar series took place on Wednesday August 26th featuring Dermot McArdle, Electric Ireland’s Head of Business Markets. The topic up for discussion in the webinar is ‘Digital Transformation: Exploring the Impact on Irish Industry.’

Joining Dermot on the panel are Brody Sweeney, the founder of Camille and Sarah Murphy, Head of Marketing at Scurri. The moderator for this discussion is Sarah Freeman, Managing Editor of the Business & Finance Media Group.

The panel covered a variety of topics, relevant to the current challenges of Covid-19 and the more day-to-day aspects of the changing landscape of business with the rise of digital.

  • The renewed importance on the digital customer journey
  • The challenges presented by Covid-19 and the innovations we have seen to overcome them.
  • The value a customer places in information on our business and the accessibility of that information.

The Rebooting Ireland program culminates with The Business Show Virtual Summit on September 10th, bringing you right to the heart of the Irish business community from the comfort of your own home. This immersive event is driven by the desire for solution-based discussions which will be showcased through keynote speakers, panel discussions and networking opportunities.
