Over 120,000 people turned out this morning for the annual Darkness Into Light walk for the suicide and self harm charity Pieta House. It’s the 8th year of the event which has grown from 400 people walking in Phoenix Park to 7 countries around the world from Australia to Abu Dhabi. It’s incredible that such a small country can have to an impact on the world for such a worthwhile cause .
“Our next generation, our children, will not be afraid to talk about suicide nor will they be afraid to seek help.” said Joan Freeman, CEO of Pieta House.
