Appliance Calculator. Whilst we know it’s a great tool to understand your energy usage as a means of controlling costs, even we were surprised that someone had guesstimated their bill within €4. So we one of our customers, Sarah, to put it to the test to see just how accurately she could estimate her bill. She was very surprised that using a laptop for 22 hours per week only uses 42c worth of electricity and equally surprised that her immersion costs a whopping €45.38 for only two full tanks. Here is a full breakdown of how she calculated the bill via the app.

A few surprises..
So it is accurate and it’s a great way of understanding your energy usage. She was very surprised that boiling the kettle 14 times per week costs 4 times as much as using a laptop for 28 hours per week and with the immersion costing a whopping €45.38 for only two full tanks per week, she has since vowed to limit the showers in her house from here on in!
